Checking in & out Upon your first stay with My Play Place, you will be required to complete a parent information and child registration form. This information is vital to the staff at and to your child’s welfare. You will also be asked to pay the registration fee of $9.00 per child or $12.00 per Family. When you come to pick up your child, you will be asked to present a picture ID. You will receive a statement for services rendered. Fees are due and payable at check out. For your convenience, My Play Place accepts cash, checks, MasterCard or Visa. There is a $30.00 returned check fee.
Snacks and Meals If your child is with us during a meal, parents are asked to bring a lunch or a local restaurant may provide a meal for $4.00. We strongly request that you prepay for your child’s meal. Lunch will end at 1:00 pm. If your child has not eaten by then, please feed them before they come in. The kitchen will be closed for cleaning at that time. Please make sure that My Play Place has information on any dietary restrictions or food allergies. Your child will be provided with a snack in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Safety & Security Parents will be asked to show a picture ID before this establishment will release any child. If at any time, the parent would need to have one of their contacts pick up their child, please provide us with a note from you and the driver’s license of the person picking your child up before they arrive to pick up. My Play Place strictly abides by this policy.
Personal Items My Play Place will provide your child with numerous items to play with so we ask that your child NOT bring personal toys with them. My Play Place will not be responsible for personal items including but not limited to clothing, shoes and toys. Any items left at the facility will be kept in a lost and found box for 30 days. After that time, items will be donated to charity.
Special Needs Please make My Play Place staff members aware of any special needs your child might have. Your child should be able to play independently within our staff ratio. My Play Place does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, or sex. The staff at My Play Place cannot administer any over -the -counter or prescription medications.
Healthy Children It is our policy My Play Place, not to accept sick children. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Please do not bring your child to My Play Place if they have had a fever or vomited in the past 24 hours. Please keep your child home if he/she suffers from a sore throat, rash, cough, diarrhea, or pink eye. If a child becomes ill during the course of their stay, the child will be separated from the other children (he/she will remain within eyesight and hearing of our staff) and the parent will be contacted immediately. Parents will need to pick-up their sick child in a timely manner. My Play Place staff members have First Aid training and will administer to minor cuts and bruises when applicable. In the event of an emergency, your child will be transported to the closest medical facility for treatment at the parent’s expense. If any child or staff member contracts any infectious disease, it will be posted in a visible location.
Good Behavior At My Play Place, we know that children respond favorably to positive reinforcement. We will encourage children to make good choices but we also know that there will be times when verbal guidance and re-direction will be necessary. There may be times when a child would be asked to take a short time-out from their activities. My Play Place reserves the right to refuse care to children who have been exceptionally aggressive until such time when there has been a significant change in their behavior.
Licensing In the state of North Carolina, My Play Place does not qualify as a “daycare”, but we are required by law the be registered with the state. WE do strive to meet any applicable regulations that are designated for licensed daycares by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
Potty Training We will be glad to help with this process! We need your help though… please bring all necessary supplies such as diapers, pull-ups, diaper wipes and an additional change of clothes. Our staff will change any child who has had an accident and will encourage each child to “use the potty” as often as needed. If My Play Place has to supply diapers and wipes, there will be an additional charge applied to your bill and is payable upon checkout.
Ages My Play Place accepts children between the ages of 18 months and 10 years old on a drop-in basis. Children between the ages of 6 months and up to 18 months must have an appointment to be left with us. Please call two hours in advance so we can staff properly.

Larger packages can be paid for in installments. All charges are calculated in 15-minute intervals.
